Sample Letter #8

I just learned that the NFL Network will not be included in our basic cable package. I think that's great. I'm not a sports fan and, as most people know, because of the inflated costs of sports, it costs as much to provide a single sports channel as it does to produce all the other channels combined!

It's about time that cable subscribers quit being forced to subsidize sports programming when most of us DON'T EVEN WATCH IT. I hope the deletion of this overpriced channel will result in a sustainable cable line up at a decent price.
