Yes, it's only a cartoon video, but it's based on truth.

Thanking God and saying prayers for yourself is arrogant and selfish. There are people in much worse situations than you. Why should you be a higher priority? Why are you so special? WHY? I'll tell you why. It's because your god is really nothing more than an extension of your own ego.
It would mean a lot to me if you subbed these two; they are awesome, and it makes me feel good to know that I helped them:

And at both of those web sites I posted the following.
I had to break it up into 6 parts because you can only post 500 characters at a time.
BigFatHeretic is my new YouTube user name.
Anyway, here it is.
DarkMatter2525 sent me - Dear God, I thank you for allowing me to fall from a moving car and the age of 4 causing me to have a crippled up knee so that I would be lousy in PE and sports while going to school. Dear God, I thank you for my having been suspended from school for failing to climb a rope in the gymnasium, even though I was passing all of my other academic subjects, like science and math. . . . to be continued . . .
BigFatHeretic
. . . continued from previous . . . Dear God, I thank you for the PE coach who liked to humiliate me in front of the other students in the gym, and who punched me in the stomach with a basket ball so hard that I nearly passed out. I thank you that at least my ribs weren't fractured. Dear God, I thank you for my 5th grade teacher who bashed my head against a concrete block wall in an argument over an astronomy book he didn't want me to check out from the library. . . To be continued . . .
BigFatHeretic
. . . continued from previous . . . Dear God, I thank you for the dizzy spells and the head aches that I had during my teenage years that were the result of the blow to my head. Dear God, I thank you for the mental breakdown that I had at the age of 17, and for the 3 weeks I spent in a mental hospital. Dear God, I thank you for the ward attendants who beat me, and for having been beaten and raped by an older man while in the state mental hospital . . . to be be continued . . .
BigFatHeretic
. . . continued from previous . . . Dear God, I'm so thankful that in our schools, athletes have special privileges, and they can even attack other students and never have to worry about getting suspended or disciplined in any way, because we need them to play football to keep us entertained. Dear God, I thank you for the declining quality of education in our schools where more emphases is placed on school sports over academics . . . to be continued . . .
BigFatHeretic
. . . continued from previous . . . Dear God, I now realized that all that had happened to me was for my own good, because you really didn't want me studying science and math. Dear God, I now realize that because of my crippled up left knee, that I'm suppose to humble myself and settle for a minimum wage job bagging groceries instead of wanting to pursue a career in EVIL SCIENCE! . . . to be continued . . .
BigFatHeretic
Well, I just hope I don't get into any trouble with YouTube for posting 6 consecutive comments in a row, under 2 different videos.. . . continued from previous . . . Dear God, I thank you for being poor, and having to live on a disability pension, and I can hardly wait for your dear Christian followers in the Republican party to take that away from me and put me out into the streets. Dear God, I thank you that our football players and basketball players are well paid for their great endeavors which is so much more important than education. Yes, I thank you God for sports. Amen

Yeah, we have the Republicans dragging their feet concerning legislation on the debt ceiling, and refusing to give up all those great big tax breaks for multi-millionaires and billionaires, while defaulting on the national debt, and also, wanting to do away with Social Security, SSI, and Medicare/Medicaid.
Yet, our society doesn't mind football and basketball players getting paid 5 million dollars every year just for chasing balls, but doesn't seem to care if millions of people, the elderly and disabled end up living in the streets and starving.
I imagine all those Christians in the Republican party, after fucking with the country and the economy, that they all go to church on Sundays and praising Jesus for all that God has so generously bestowed upon them, while the rest of us might die in the streets.
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
Gee! I wonder how all those good Christians in the Republican party can live with themselves and sleep at night.
With all that is going on in this country, I'm leaning more toward becoming agnostic.
I feel that combining religion and sports is a dangerous trend in the USA.
I fear that in the future, in our school gymnasiums, along with the exercise equipment, they will reintroduce the stretch rack and thumb screws to torture all the heretic nerds and geeks who don't like sports, and who prefer studying math and science, and supporting Evolution instead of Creationism.
Anyway . . .
I'm going to keep going back to those videos to see how anybody responds to my comments.
It should prove interesting.
