Well, it's now been a whole year since I have joined in these forums. That was back on February 12,2009 at 10:08 PM which was the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin.



Yeah, a whole year today since I joined these forums and this is my 1,348th post.

Now I know the score I need to beat by 14th January 2011! Yeah, the constant need to outdo one another, that urge to live life like one big competition... doesn't it seem familiar?
Anyway, happy one year anniversary. What do you want as a reward?

Just being on this forum with other people who are anti-sports, people who understand where I'm coming from, people who understand my anger, people who don't ridicule me when I mention my past experiences, the friends I have made on this forum.

That is reward enough for me.

Also, there is nothing wrong with competition. It's nice to see people competing when it comes to writing essays, talking about science and art, some competition is good.

It's a lot better than sports competition.

I wish students in school took as much pleasure in competing to see who can get the highest grade point average, to write the best science or history essay, or to produce a work of art.

That's much better than competing to score the highest in a stupid childish game.

Oh, and I actually enjoy reading long posts, because I make a lot of long posts myself.

That's because you and I and Earl, we make the longest posts because we have a lot to say.

And don't worry, I believe you will hit the 1000 post mark pretty soon.

I believe it was back on November 8,2009 when I hit 1000 posts, just a little bit over 8 months after I joined this web site forum.

So, I'm sure you will hit 1000 posts real soon.
