I'm not sure how long this TV station keeps these videos on it's website for, but I recommend getting in quick for a look in case it disappears soon -

Try downloading and saving that video to your computer using this software if you want -

What the hell is a footy? This perfectly displays the rowdiness of sports fans.

It's a gay sounding word for football. I've heard of The Footy Club, which I guess is made up of football fans.

To me, it sounds kind of gay!

Yeah! Footy!

Does it sound gay? Ha ha! I've never thought of it like that. Maybe it's just an accent thing. Over here "footy" is just the standard short-hand word for football.

Yeah, it really makes you want to spend all your spare time hanging out with sports fans doesn't it?!!

Q: What's the definition of a sports stadium?
A: A day care center for morons!

Lots of people call our version of football "footy" over here. It's a pretty popular expression here in Britain. You wouldn't go far round here calling footy "gay", but I guess over in America your football is a lot tougher than ours! Yeah, our "football" game is just a game for sissies compared to American "football"! I don't understand why they call it "football" over in America when it's hardly even shaped like a ball. Hank did make one good point - it looks far more like an egg. And our version of football places a far stronger emphasis on the use of the foot; it actually lives up to its name. But I guess I'm not here to tell you why you should look up to any sport, am I? No. No damn way.

Best regards,

Yeah, it does sound kind of gay.

It also sounds rather infantile as well.

Let me give you an example.

When I was a kid living up in Minnesota, I remember one cold winter day a mother getting her three year old toddler dressed up to go play outdoors, and saying "OK honey. You need to put your little booties on your little footies." which I thought was kind of cute.

So, yeah! Footy does sound infantile!

But the sports fans love it!

But then, that's to be expected from morons who can't read or write beyond the third grade level, and throw childish temper tantrums out in the streets when their favorite team loses or still go out into the streets to riot even when their favorite team wins.

Judging from the recent 4chan raid on our forums, it's obvious that most sports fans are in the Romper Room crowd.

FOOTY!!!

Yeah! Uh huh! I does sound both gay and infantile!

Yeah it does sound kinda gay now that I think about it. Kinda like the slang word "handy" (Search up the word on Urban Dictionary if you don't know what "handy" means). Not that I'm a homophobe. I just find it ironic that jocks call non-athletes gay yet they do things that could be easily perceived as gay, and they think that how you play sports determines your masculinity, or in other words, "manliness".
