International I Hate Sports Club

Why is this board running slower than molasses? I thought earlier that the presence of the sports bores were overloading the server, but they're gone (or at least stopped posting so much) and it's slower than it was earlier.

Never mind, as soon as I posted this it started running normally. Hopefully that continues.

The mods have finally seen fit to prevent new users from registering.
That should help stop the surge of these fucking sports bore idiots coming on and smattering the boards with their idiotic crap!
I'm sorry to any decent sports hater who wishes to register, but for now your luck is out because of these morons who have seen fit to come and slow down the site to the extent where I can grow a beard in the time it takes to load up and clog up the forum with the same old shit we've heard off countless sports bores in the past and we know to expect nothing better than! "YOUR ALL FAGS. GET A LIFE. WOOHOO GO COLTS."
The restriction had to be done and I congratulate the mods on making this decision. Hopefully that should get rid of these fucking morons. 4chan obviously doesn't attract the most intellectual people! Actually, the sort of people who post regularly there are those who can't even wipe their own arse without needing help! Idiots the lot of them.

Well, today is Super Bowl Sunday I think, so perhaps the jocks will be far busier drooling and getting hot over that monumental event than coming on here in droves trying to overload the bandwidth server.
Perhaps with their attentions focussed on that, we will have a little peace in which to undertake our sports hating discussions without having to worry about the server crashing at any time.
Let's just hope.

Only 2 users online right now (not counting me), so maybe you're right. The game isn't till later though. How extensive is the pre-Stupor Bore coverage anyway?

Oh, look what I'm asking. Like anybody here who doesn't have the "Sports Bore" title is going to know that.

Now then, does anybody have any idea of when registration is going to be reopened?
Or will it never be reopened? Will it always have to be by Admin Approval from now on?
Perhaps we will accept no new members at all given the two 4channers who managed to deceive the admins completely and post on here even with the registration option off?
Perhaps we will have to wall ourself into this forum eventually to completely cut the 4channers off, by making everybody have to sign in before they are allowed to enter the forum?
Who knows where it will go? The tension is immense! I await the next move, then a new round shall commence...

I have noticed that here lately, the forum pages are now loading much faster again.

I have also noticed that during the recent raid on our forum there was as much 40 to 50 visitors present, and that was when the forum pages were taking forever to load.

But now that we're back to the usual 4 to 6 visitors, the pages are loading much faster now.

At the moment we now have a total of 18 users online. That's the most I've seen over the last few days. I am the only registered one online (there's also a bot online but I don't count them as users even though for some reason they show up in the "online" list) so perhaps the spammers may be setting up for another raid?

Not having any problems with the server though. Perhaps a secret upgrade has been done behind my back? Who knows.
