OK everybody.

It looks like I'm now in some kind of trouble with the law because of some stupid comment I had made last summer during an angry phone conversation.

You all remember last summer, when I had posted a topic titled . . .

This was back before I got my new power chair, my JAZZY 614 HD, when I was still walking around with my cane.

After I had picked up my prescriptions at the Walmart pharmacy, I walked across the street to the bus stop in front of the Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER only to discover that the bus stop benches had been removed and I had to stand like a jack-ass in the hot summer sun to wait for a bus.

I have arthritis in both of my knees and both of my ankles, so I was limited in how far I could walk, and now, on that day, I had to stand on my tired feet to wait for a bus instead of sitting down.

When I finally got home, my knees and ankles were hurting really bad, and I was all pissed off.

So, I called Sun Metro, the city bus system, to complain about the benches being taken away, and they told me that the UTEP Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER had requested that the benches be removed.

Then I really got pissed, and said "Since when do we let a rape gang run this town!?!" and she asked, what I had meant by "rape gang". So I said "You know! the UTEP Minors, just like the Dallas Cowboys, or the Huston Oilers, or the Pittsburgh Steelers, you know. All the football teams, they're all rape gangs! Has it ever occurred to them at Don Haskins that some people are elderly or physically disabled and would like to sit down while waiting for a bus?", and then I demanded that Sun Metro put the benches back, and she explained that Sun Metro is not in charge of the benches that I would have to take it up with UTEP or the Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER.

Then I was really pissed off and said "So! We let a SPORTS CENTER and a bunch of stupid jocks run this town. I have no use for jocks! As far as I'm concerned, they should all be ground up and made into lunch meat to feed the homeless!" and then . . . . .

. . . I said "Hey boys and girls! If you all liked Columbine, then your all really gonna love Columbine 2!!!" and then I hung up.

Well, as I had mentioned before in the topic, about a couple of hours later, there was a knock on my door, and when I answered it, there was two police officers who said that they got a complaint from Sun Metro concerning some "terroristic threats" that I had made on the phone.

I guess it either had to do with my comment that football players should be ground up and made into lunch meat to feed the homeless, or else, the comment about Columbine and Columbine 2.

I explained to the officers that sometimes I say stupid things when I get really angry. After about a half hour they left. I guess they figured that I'm just a harmless hot head with a big mouth.

Well, after calling the Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER, it took 7 weeks of my bitching and griping before they finally replaced the bus stop benches again. Also, about a week later I got my new JAZZY power chair, but at least nobody else has to stand while waiting for a bus, thanks to me.

Anyway, that was back in June of last year.

Now this evening, there was a knock on my door, and again, two police officers telling me that there was a warrant out for me, and it had something to do with something I had said on the phone to Sun Metro concerning my complaint about some bus stop benches that I had made a "terroristic threat" about Columbine.

I explained that sometimes I say stupid things when I'm anger, that sometimes I have difficulty controlling my emotions, but I have never harmed another person in my entire life, that I had often been a victim of violence.

The two officers were actually very nice, and I was told that I was not going to be arrested. They glanced around my room, and noticed my JAZZY power chair parked in the corner, and they asked me if I was using any medications. They were actually concerned about my health.

The two officers told me that I should turn myself in, but before I do, I should see a bail bondsman first in advance, and then when I turn myself in, and I would only be there a few hours before being released on bond, and then a court date would be set to see a judge and that I should explain to the judge that I have no intention of harming anyone.

I mentioned that I have a therapist, and that I have been diagnosed with PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, but I'm not a threat to anyone. I have never harmed another person in my entire life, but I have been hurt plenty of times.

Then the two officers left.

OK, I admit that the comment I made was stupid. When I'm really pissed off, I sometimes say stupid things without thinking.

Well, tomorrow is Sunday, and Monday my health care worker comes to my apartment, so I told the officers that this Tuesday I will see the bail bondsman.

I'm also going to call my therapist first, and them I'm going to call my synagogue to see if any members are attorneys or if they know any attorneys.

This is a really fucked up world we live in.

A football player can rape someone and goes unpunished.

But open up your mouth and say how much you hate football players, and then, you become public enemy number one!

This really sucks out loud!

wow--what a bummer. I thought that was done with when the cops came on the day of the incident. What a pain. I can see where it's wise to be vigilant and report threats to public safety but this is just unfortunate. Those detectives should have the authority to evaluate your story right there on the sport and either pursue it further if warranted or dismiss it.

To carry on is just wasting public resources. oh well. Anyway, good luck. If you show up for trial you get all but 10% of your bail money back right? If the bail's not too much maybe you should just put up the money yourself and save 10 % if that's how it works.

I called a bail bondsman this morning, and explained my situation to him, and he told me to call the Judges office (I won't mention his name here) and to get a PR bond posted. That's a Personal Recognizance bond, so it shouldn't cost me any more the $30 dollars. They might even wave the $30 dollars because of my low income and being on disability.

Then when I go to turn myself in, I'll probably only be there for a couple of hours, just long enough for them to take a mug shot and finger prints and then a court date set, and then released.

When they see me riding in on my power chair, they'll really won't want to hold me in jail, especially since I have a clean record and have never been involved in any violent incident, except as a victim, but never a perpetrator.

The bondman said that the worse I might get is 6 months probation.

So, tomorrow when I get up, I'm going to call the judges office.

It's only about 5 or 6 blocks away from where I live in the down town area.

In the meantime, wish me luck.

Yes, it is like being raped again!

I was in jail yesterday for about 8 hours before I was finally released on bail.

It feels good to be home.

wow! a felony! I don't know much about the categories of offenses but that sounds serious. I have a new respect for you! But seriously.. I hope you're acquitted.

It's absolutely ridiculous and outrageous. There are Islamofascists active in our midst doing who knows what at this very moment, while Fat Man, a morbidly obese invalid living on disability who isn't even a Muslim and doesn't even own a firearm (and is physically incapable of harming anyone), is charged with making a terroristic threat over the phone, which was nothing but a rude, ill-tempered remark. (Sorry for the runon sentence.) Offensive, yes. Terroristic, no. If this weren't so serious, it would be the plot of a funny movie starring Michael Moore in his first comedy role. I can't believe this! Words fail me ...

Good evening everybody.

This morning I left my apartment at 10:00 AM and I headed down town in my Jazzy power chair. I only live a few blocks from the down town area.

I stopped at an attorney's office to get some more information. I explained what had happened, and what I had said over the phone to Sun Metro.

She told me that most likely the charge might be reduced from a felony down to a misdemeanor. If I get convicted of a felony, even if I don't do any jail time, I will lose my right to vote! I hope I can get it reduced to a misdemeanor.

Yeah, she did say that my comment about how I said that "football players should be ground up and made into lunch-meat to feed the homeless", that comment alone was enough to get me into trouble, even without the Columbine and Columbine 2 statement, which did help to compound the problem.

Oh come on! Like, lets get real!

Oh, I keep forgetting! This country, and most of the businesses are run by religious fundamentalists who take everything literally!

Yeah! Like, I have a great big meat grinder in my kitchen, and at night I go out in my red Jazzy power chair wearing a cowboy hat and swinging a lariat over head to lasso football players, then I hog tie them with a rope, and drag them behind me with my Jazzy back to my apartment, and then I butcher them in my kitchen and put them through my meat-grinder and make them into lunch-meat. Then I make lots of sandwiches and pack them into little paper bags, and then I go out during the day giving away my sandwiches to the homeless.

YEAH RIGHT!!!

Well anyway . . . . .

The attorney said that I should go with my court appointed attorney because they charge a $1,800 dollar fee for their services.

Well, I'm going to find out if any members of my synagogue are attorneys or if anyone there knows any attorneys who are willing to wave the fee since I am indigent. I'm also going to go to The Legal Aid Society as well.

After I left the attorney's office I went to the cop chop (actually police station, but since I'm a crook now, I may as well speak the lingo!) to get a copy of the complaint filed against me or any transcripts. It will take about 10 days then I can pick up my copies from the cop shop.

From there I took a bus to Albertsons to get some beer, then I went to the Walgreens pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions and bought 4 peach flavored cigars, then went across the street to the bus stop in front of the Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER to wait for a bus.

When I got on the bus, the diver said this was a cutesy stop, because there will not be a bus stop there any more. Yeah, the bus stop sign was covered! There is going to be a new bus terminal about 2 blocks away, so the buses will no longer stop in front of the Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER - AKA - Nazi Headquarters anymore.

So, yeah! First they take away the benches so people can't sit down while waiting for a bus, which took my bitching and griping for 7 weeks to get the benches put back.

But, now they're going to take way the bus stop! So, I guess the benches will get taken away again, and people will have to walk an extra 2 blocks to get a bus.

Well, I won't mind so much because I have my Jazzy power chair, but what about the elderly or the disabled who don't have power chairs and are still walking around with canes as I once was before I got my Jazzy, what about them???

They will have to walk another 2 blocks to the new bus terminal!

So, the Nazi Headquarters has struck again!!!

Yeah! It "didn't look good" to have elderly or disabled people sitting on benches in front of their precious SPORTS CENTER, now they are doing away with the bus stop!

NOW I'M REALLY PISSED OFF!

But I'm now afraid to call Sun Metro or the Don Haskins SPORTS CENTER - AKA - Nazi Headquarters to complain about it, because now, I'm a criminal with no civil right's anymore and I even stand to lose my voting rights!

Yeah, because of sports, when I was a kid going to school, I was denied a decent education, and now, because I had the audacity to speak out against the Sports Nazis, I might even lose my right to vote!

That means that comes 2012, that moron, Sara Palin stands a somewhat better chance of getting elected President!

Sports in school ruined my life when I was a kid, and now, I'm almost a senior citizen no longer going to school, and sports is still wrecking my life!

The rape goes on!!!

yeah, a felony changes everything.
No right to defend yourself with a weapon.
no right to vote.
You do still get to pay taxes though.
