International I Hate Sports Club

Who is this MORON who keeps coming here to post spam? This has to be AT LEAST the third time today he has cluttered up the board with it. GO AWAY. I DON'T WANT YOUR CIPRO CRAP.

I could understand one or two posts but why FIFTY? And why make them HUGE and difficult to remove?

I'm guessing some third-world national is getting paid by the post. Hopefully we are removing his crap faster than he can report and get paid for it.

It certainly is annoying, Ray. But there's not much I can do about it.

Last Thursday I happened to come to the forum just as a spammer was posting spam; so, I deleted it as it showed up on the webpage. I also posted a topic addressed to the spammer in which the title consisted of an insult that was purposely directed at him. I assume that he was provoked because he started flooding the forum with more spam than I had ever seen before. (I wonder if the spammer is a sports fan who particularly hates this website or was sent by a sports fan. Of course, I have no way of knowing one way or the other. I'm not saying that he is. I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine.) I counted over 80 posts of spam. Talk about cyberbullying! I noticed that he actually stayed online for over an hour so he could keep posting spam. We actually had a contest. He kept replacing his deleted spam with even more. This had never happened before. I notified Skul that he needed to be banned. But the next day we experienced another round of excessive spamming. ASPhadoCafadask possibly could be the previous spammer who got around the ban somehow and came back under a new username.

All I can do as a Moderator is delete spam. I'm not able to use the ban function. Skul says there is no way the current system can be spam-proofed. So, the next time we have an instance of excessive spamming, please scroll down the webpage past the spam to the topics you want to check. The spam will eventually be deleted. Sorry about the inconvenience. I wish I could do more.

He actually stayed on-line and tried to outlast you? I've run into that before with obvious vandals but not with this kind of business spam. I'll try to log in more often to do my share. I know it's a lot of work deleting that crap.

Can you believe that one of these guys actually stayed online for over an hour to harrass the forum with a flood of spam just because I dared to insult him in a topic title (now deleted)? (Never mind that he knew he wasn't welcome here in the first place.) It's quite revealing, I must say!
