Bullying

I just found the following webpage and thought it was interesting. I've posted this link so you all could read it. Thought it might serve as the starting point of a substantive discussion. Sad to say, but some people -- such as Matt Labash, who is a Weekly Standard online senior editor -- actually defend bullyiing. I've not prepared comments of my own at this time. I'd be interested in anyone else's comments.

He certainly should have been fired. Can you imagine any other teacher being able to get away with something like that?

All I have to say is...
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT GUY?!
I mean, come on you don't treat the young like that! He didn't even have the right! What in the hell made him think that he had the right to push around someone who was much weaker and soft spoken than he was?
The aftermath was certainly serious, but I bet he's basking in pride at the fact he can push around people like that student like they were flimsy dummies.
