I have Train Simulator on my computer. It's like operating a real diesel locomotive, and it takes as much skill to operate as the real thing. It's a beautiful (not game) but simulator program. It's like sitting in the cab of a locomotive and you drive a train through mountainous scenery. It's really beautiful. You can also switch to exterior view to see what your train looks like and get a better view of the scenery, but to work the controls you have to go back to cab view.

I have many passenger and freight routs from the USA to Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and European routs. My favorite is the high speed ICE Inter Continental Express, an electric locomotive that goes about 180 miles per hour and it take 6 hours to complete the whole rout. Another favorite of mine is The Heidi Express, an electric rout that goes through the Swiss Alps.

It is very easy to screw up and wreck a train. All it take is a moment of carelessness, and when you have a train wreck, it switches to the external view so you can watch the whole disastrous results in action, and believe me, it looks very real! I have had boxcars going over a cliff or tumbling down a steep hillside.
