Yeah! I have to agree with you there.wibberley wrote:NO It wasnt so much WHAT i said but the fact that i said what i said in the way i did.As regards my children,id rather visit them in a young offenders institution than in a cemetery
Or you could just raise them so they don't end up in either. I've obviously never killed anyone or committed suicide and I've definitely had experiences with bullies. Sometimes I've put up with their crap, and it isn't any fun, but I don't think I'd enjoy getting locked up for a long period of time or hanging myself. In fact, if you wanted to raise your child to be prepared for bullying in a certain way, then you could have them learn martial arts perhaps, I don't know anything about martial arts myself, but I know that a kid could take down a bully twice his size if he is well trained, and therefore no one dies, and the kid who wasn't the bully doesn't get punished. And sometimes I haven't put up with their bullshit, one time I fought one of my peers who enjoyed picking on me, and just before the teacher broke it up, he had already begun to cry. Unfortunately, he still continued his antics, but just from afar, but perhaps that would have been different if a teacher didn't break it up and I was able to knock some sense into him and humiliate him a bit more in front of everyone who was watching. But I'm not advocating fighting here, I'm just sharing my own story to display that the only solutions to bullying aren't murder and suicide.wibberley wrote:NO It wasnt so much WHAT i said but the fact that i said what i said in the way i did.As regards my children,id rather visit them in a young offenders institution than in a cemetery

When I was a kid living in a small railroad town up in Northern Minnesota, my neighborhood was like living on Skid Row.HugeFanOfBadReligion wrote:Also, wibberley, I should add that while you seem to be okay with the hypothetical situation of your child being arrested for murder if it was for the purpose stopping bullies, you should take note that the bullies would likely be significantly worse in a juvenile detention centre and your child would have no way to stop those bullies. It wouldn't make the situation better for anyone, so your approval of children killing their bullies doesn't solve anything.
If you don't mind me asking, wibberley, what exactly is this post about? Does it have something to do with me? I could tell based on the way you mentioned how music was good until 1989. Have you finally realised that there is plenty of good stuff around from after the 1950's? In regards to your comment about "a few rareties today", you may be pleased to hear that I make no compromises when it comes to music. If it's from after the 80's, I just won't have it. Could you please clarify what you were trying to say in this post?wibberley wrote:pepplease can u ban wibberley again as he is spending too much time slagging pop music off, which was good until 1989 and a few raraties today.thank you.
But would you rather have your kids be with bullies that are pretty bad but aren't the worst around, and in an environment where your child has the ability to tell someone about bullying problems, or would you rather have your kids in a detention centre where the bullies are much worse, so bad that they've been arrested for what they've done to others, in an environment that is run by people who generally don't give a fuck about your kids rights, and nothing will be done if your kid gets beaten up every once in a while. Therefore your logic is flawed and you'd only be harming your child by not having a problem with your kid killing his/her bully.wibberley wrote:rather my kids be with bullies in a detention centre than being six feet under
wibberley don't you think that is a little bit extreme? Life is far too short to be angry at people, it won't make you feel any better.wibberley wrote:well that was my wife who posted about music up to 1989 being o.k.She likes Wet Wet Wet.Personally id like to get Marty Pellows head and slam it repeatedly against a wall of reinforced concrete. Also as regards students and having a repeat of tianaman square ,well i hate students.Id like to have thought that in my younger days i would have gone down The Limit student bashing ,particularly during freshers week(preferably armed with a length of scaffolding!),but unfortunately ,i didnt. With regard to Fat Mans most moving experience where he was nearly cut in two by a trans state express (it actually could have been worse,he could have had batteries shoved up his anus and actually been cut in two as happened to someone over here once!)Well that experience has reinforced my decision to kill some one if needs be.IF I were fat man i wouldnt hesitate to arm myself with a revolver and find that boy and his sister and take them out.A few years ago this boy was treated abominably by his parents being made to sleep in the dog kennel. Finally,as he grew up ,he managed to get hold of a shot gun whereupon he blew both his mother and fathers brains out.The judge and jury sympathized with him to the extreme but he had to go down for a little while as justice had to be seen to done.Any how ,when he was released he was greeted with rapturous applause and cheers.personally speaking,if someone so much as breathe s on my daughter i have a cellphone number to ring and it is dealt with immediately.the police are no good as their hands are tied, but with the other they dont know whats hit them and they get the message straight away
No, I'm afraid I've known people of all kinds of ages, and most people of all ages do not wish death upon large groups of people.wibberley wrote:Well, when you get to my age you become cynical .Youll come round to my way of thinking soon enough
