Wibberley, not everyone, just Fat Man. When someone is mocking or attacking you, don't assume the rest of us agree with him just because we aren't saying anything.

Take care,

Nah! I'm not worked up over wibberly!

I'm actually laughing my fat ass off over his moronic forum posts!

Hey, this is my post number 2222!!!

Now that you're back, I hope you're going to start acting more like a member and less like a troll. You've been given a second chance -- don't waste it.

And everyone else? Let him have his second chance. Don't forget that flaming and flame-baiting is against the rules. You may want to read over them again...

I am hoping wibberley shall stop with them and take the time to submit some more meaningful, informative posts that shall make for a refreshing change from all that old banter. After all, it was me who started the process that led to his reinstation. Apart from that, let's put all that behind us and see what the future holds. Skul is right - this is a new start for wibberley, and we need to play our part in ensuring that it is a civil, pleasant process. And wibberley has his half of the deal to stick to. Here's to wibberley's second chance. *Raises his glass of wine*

What I don't get, is why wibberley has only been posting on this topic about pop music and nowhere else.

This topic is no longer about pop music anymore and why it sucks.

Personally, I think this topic should be locked. Of course, it's not my place to tell the board moderators what to do, but I'm merely suggesting that if this topic is locked, then wibberley will have to post elsewhere.

I mean, like really! I would like very much if he were to visit some of the topics I had posted on politics, or science and evolution, etc. etc.

I can't believe that pop music is the only thing he knows about, and why it sucks, or wanting to kill everybody in the world.

I'm curious to learn what his opinions are on other topics, besides just this one.

I can only assume that wibberley has felt proud in the success of this thread, in the number of posts it has drawn, and feels that this is the place he belongs. Look at the number of responses it's drawn. I'd say it was probably in the top 5 threads with most responses on this website. Look at Sergey who used to keep returning to that "bullshit" thread in a hope of getting it to the 1,000 post mark when he was on these forums. When you have an especially successful thread like this one, you do feel the urge to keep coming back and back to it and develop somewhat of a one-track mind. You wish to see it keep growing and can't stand the idea of it slipping out of people's attention. It ain't something I would do, keep posting on only a thread I created, but maybe wibberley considers this to be a real online success for him - it's gained far more responses than any thread I've created. But I do agree with you, Fat Man, that he should broaden his scope of discussion a bit. A bit of variety never harmed anyone. But will he? Time will tell.

Wibberley did post one other place, in the Old Music thread. He also recently provided me with useful advice by PM on whether I should consider learning the piano up to Grade 4. (Thanks for the info, by the way, Wibberley.)

Well, I use to play the guitar but my left wrist was fractured back in July of 2001 and I'm left handed. Now, my hand writing sucks so bad I could be a doctor!

I can't play the guitar anymore.

So, I'm not open to any advice from Wibberly, especially since he only plays on the linoleum!

OK! Sorry!

I couldn't resist!

Fat Man:

Your joke wasn't even funny the first time....

I have also concluded from your incessant flame-baiting that you are clearly not on board with us bringing Wibberley back....
The fact that you submitted your post after writing "OK! Sorry!" proves that you are not sorry....
I was completely sincere about thanking him for his most helpful advice.

I am now going back through ALL of his posts to ascertain where he ever insulted you specifically. I have no recollection of that ever happening.

PS--The childish antics at this site are really starting to bore me. Most people here are just fine...

Fat Man, when it comes to genocidal rants, you have a bit of a problem in that area yourself. Not to mention advocating premeditated murder, as you once did. I'm referring, of course, to a certain post of yours that I had to delete.

Do you think I get any pleasure out of saying this?

Well, a few pages back Earl thought is was funny.

Seriously, Fat Man, that was really funny. Thanks for the funny joke. I'll have to share it with Mrs. Earl.
So, he did think it was funny.

OK, that was on the topic of the kids who committed suicide after having been bullied around in school.

I was merely speculating as to what might happen, if, instead of suicide, if the victims had killed the bullies after school instead of taking their own lives.

How would the school system react? How would the law react? How would people in general react?

Would that get anybody's attention and to put an end to bullying or what?

I'm glad I'm not a parent, because I would hate the thought of any one of my kids committing suicide as a result of bullying.

I would want my kid alive, even if it meant that the bully was killed by my kid, instead of my kid taking his own life.

I was merely speculating as to what would happen if the victims struck back instead of taking their own lives.

Maybe I should have worded it differently.

But I'm getting very sick and tired of hearing on the NEWS or reading articles about kids committing suicide as a result of bullying in our schools. It is very depressing.

Now, I'm only speculating, or making a prediction.

But I believe that there is going to come a time when the victims are going to get so sick and tired of bullying that instead of taking their own lives, they might retaliate instead, and end up taking the lives of the bullies.

It's simply a matter of what goes around comes around.

 Im sorry that some people think that i am basking in glory, after all it is not everyone that is disfellowshipped and reinstated in a matter of 7 days and yet still comes up smelling of roses.

I'm still failing to see what's so offensive about this whole "linoleum" business. Is it implying he's like a little kid in some way? If that's the implication and somebody wishes to pass it off as flame-baiting, well, those accusations are pretty weak, as wibberley even portrayed himself like a kid with this line:
wibberley wrote:Being barred from the forum was like a small child waking up in the middle of the night, and going to his mummy and daddys room and finding they weren't there.
It's a harmless joke. It's nothing like a death threat or a racially-abusive statement.

I thought fat mans remark about me giving me Norman Bates arun for his money reminded me of how about 15 years ago a woman came round conducting market research.I said I was happy to oblige if the prospect of me prancing around the back garden being draped in her skin in the next thirty minutes or so didnt phase her.It was just such a real life psycho that Robert Bloch based his novel of the same name on.

Robert Bloch is one of my favorite authors. He passed away in about 1994. Great writer.
