Provided it is not recent, I will give all sorts of different types of music a chance. Unfortunately I do not give any music from the 2000s or 1990s a chance and there's nothing that can be changed about that. That is when gangsta rap and irritating girly pop started to overrule the charts and every kind of music went off in a more commercialised direction. Last decade did to music what last century did to the horse and carriage.Fat Man wrote:It's called "thinking outside the box" and there's nothing wrong with that.
Sometimes it's good to explore different types of music that you usually don't listen to most of the time.
For example, I don't care too much for country music if it's the redneck boo hoo cry in your beer type of music.
But there are some country songs I like, such as Colorado Rocky Mountain High or The Highway Man and a few others.
Anyway, I am currently listening to Queen's song Brighton Rock from 1974.

I like most of the songs by Queen from all of their main career from the early 1970s to the late 1980s but I like their earlier stuff the most, when they performed high quality rock songs like this one that defined the rock of the 1970s.
