You guys are just mad that you have no friends and suck at life and need something to blame.
Hate me, for I am what you could never be.

"Will that be paper or plastic?"
Don't you not have a job?

Ah! Welcome back
DrMenJele! It's so good to see you again!
So! How do you like your new football jersey!
It fits you perfectly! Let me see . . . I guess you wear a size 46, Extra Pompous!
Believe me! It's you!
My complements to your tailor!

How surprising, you didn't even respond to any of the arguments in response to your original post, you're a real smart guy. And really? I have no friends? I could have sworn that statement is false, but then again, you
obviously know me better than myself. And in what aspect do I fail at life? Please elaborate.
Hate me, for I am what you could never be.
And what exactly are you? You never explained to us what makes you superior to us, although I'm not sure I should believe you if you do respond.

Mad? Who's mad? I think the responses to you have been quite rational and appropriate.
But I guess being a troll, you have some sort of pre-planned script that you are working with, and apparently you were expecting us to be mad with you at this point.
Well, sorry that this is not quite working out how you expected it to.
Did you have an alternative script prepared that you can switch to in case we didn't get mad at you?
You might have to switch to that one now.
Perhaps that might help.
Try that.

An intolerant, belligerent, egotistical coward with no morals?
That definitely sounds like something I'd hate to be. And since you are that... okay, I'll hate you.

Aw, come on, you know you're secretly envious of him because he plays sports, or watches sports, or masturbates to sports, or whatever the hell he does.

Now why did I expect your response would sound something like that? You introduce yourself to the forum by taking a pop at one of the regular members, and even start a whole new thread about it, and wonder why you've not exactly received a pleasant response? Not to mention your rather disturbing choice of username. Try reading the forum, dumbass, and finding out WHY we don't like sports, rather than coming up with such dull, predictable insults as "you have no friends and suck at life". It's just boring now. I'd enjoy arguing with you if you could at least come up with something good.

He's probably fake, i_like_1981. Just a troll trying to get a rise. "It's only the Internet."

These people probably feel so big and strong, don't they, having a go at Fat Man over the internet. Seriously, I've seen a lot of obnoxious posts on this website and it sure makes me wonder what sports do to some people's minds!

ATTENTION: I_like_1981, I just edited and messed up your post instead of typing up my own. Please forgive me! I can't believe I did this. Please forgive. What a dope I am!
This has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever done in this website. Oh, well, at least I've provided some comic relief (in addition to that provided by
DrMenJele). (FYI, I've been suffering from a sleep disorder.)

You want to know something? I don't have a job either. I have two college degrees -- a Bachelor's of Business Administration and an Associate in Applied Business (which was essentially computer science). I've rated as an Expert User on Microsoft Word and Excel that I've taken at various employment agencies. I'm gone on numerous interviews, registered with at least five employment agencies, registered with the state of Ohio for job placement, gone to job fairs, and filled out applications over the past year and a half. The reason I don't have a job? The "Great Recession" and its accompanying "jobless recovery" don't leave many positions open for me. Companies that have positions I'm qualified for will usually promote from within, or assign more than one position to a single person (in corporate-speak, they call that "increasing productivity"). Although I've applied to open positions that are lesser-paying (such as clerking jobs in stores, etc.), I'm "overqualified" for these jobs. So, you might want to think a little bit before you criticize someone for not having a job.
Yet, in spite of all this, guys who play with a ball for a living are upset because they can only get, oh say, nine million instead of ten million a year. I'm being told my unemployment benefits will run out this year, but guess what? There's money for new sports stadiums, and money to turn schools into sports factories.
What do you think of that?

No problem, Earl. The problem has now been fixed. I'm sure the original post was longer than the new revised version but those two sentences alone constitute an acceptable post in my opinion. I'm still in awe at how you could do that - I only thought the moderators could delete or move posts from normal users, not edit the text in them as well. Your administrative powers are greater than I thought!

Yes, I'm pissed off at this stuff as well, because no matter how many unemployed there may be in any developed country or how much debt the economy is in, there always seems to be money to throw at these football and other professional sports players in obscene amounts, and they have the audacity to demand more from their managers. That arsehole Wayne Rooney was doing it again last year, demanding a higher pay check if he was to stay at United. It's a fucking insult to all those who don't have work, who aren't making money and who would benefit most from the undeserved pennies these footballers are making. It's a bloody liberty, isn't it, how these footballers demand so much money in such times, isn't it? Personally, the governments of the world should be cutting back on the excesses of the sports industry if they're so concerned about economic issues. I guess it's one rule for those who are good at kicking a ball around and another rule for the rest of us.
