Me and Polite24 never said we have anything against people making money off of video games. I/we just don't see how you can't wrap your head around the concept of athletes make more money because more people want to watch them.
There are many gamers who watch tournaments and even join them. Many get rewarded for playing said tournaments.
On an unrelated note, I'd like to apologize to you for something if it's not too late. A while ago I called you a "fucking bastard" and told you to "get the fuck out of America" or something like that because of how you said you didn't care about Pat Tillman. I feel like I showed the wrong attitude by saying this. As an immigrant, you probably thought what I said was very offensive. It probably seemed to you like I have the xenophobic attitude towards immigrants that many Americans have which is part of the reason why America isn't exactly the most popular country around the world these days. I don't feel that way. Since you were born in Russia (I think that's where you said you were from), you're probably not going to feel as loyal to America as a lifelong citizen like me. I believe that all immigrants should be welcome in America as long as they follow the laws, pay taxes and everything else. Both of my sets of grandparents were immigrants. One came from Ireland and the other one came from Hungary. So I hope you didn't take what I said the wrong way.
I don't really care, I just hate this:
Person A walks up to person B
Person A: Can you believe Tillman died?
Person B: Sad, but my brother-in-law died.
Person A: But what about Tillman?
Person B: I told you it's sad, but I care more about my brothers death.
Person A: But Tillman is very important person!
Person B: So? I told you my brothers death is more tragic to me...
Person A: *Insert aggressive attacks*
Person B: *Insert aggressive response*
... You can see where I'm going...
This is why my views on his death are short. Since people tend to view his death more tragic than others in front of a person who lost a relative. Maybe I would care more if this wasn't the case. Besides I lived most of my life in America.
