Here is another favorite song of mine that I first heard back in 1971 when I was 20 years old.

My God! That was 38 years and about 150 pounds ago!

Anyway, here is a You tube Link.

TENNESSEE BIRD WALK, OUR ORIGINAL #1 HIT.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-OrVQaqkg0&NR=1#

Tennessee Bird Walk
Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan

Take away the trees and the birds
All have to sit upon the ground, buummm
Take away their wings and
The birds will have to walk to get around
And take away the bird baths
And dirty birds will soon be ev'rywhere
Take away their feathers and
The birds will walk around in underwear
Take away their wwhooo and the
Birds will have to whisper when they sing, chirp chirp
And take away their common sense and
They'll be headed southward in the spring

Oh remember my darling
When spring is in the air
And the bald-headed birds
Are whisp'ring ev'rywhere
You can see them walking
Southward in their dirty underwear
That's Tennessee Bird walk

How about some trees so the birds
Won't have to sit upon the ground, buummm
How about some wings so the
Birds won't have to walk to get around
And how about some bird baths
so the birds will all be clean
How about some feathers so their
Underwear no longer can be seen
How about a wwhooo so the birds
Won't have to whisper when they sing, chirp chirp
And how about some common sense so they
Won't be blocking traffic in the spring

Oh remember my darling
When spring is in the air
And the bald-headed birds
Are whisp'ring ev'rywhere
You can see them walking
Southward in their dirty underwear
That's Tennessee Bird walk

That's Tennessee Bird Walk.

When they are playing, the guy is on a regular keyboard instrument while the lady is playing on a keyboard instrument making some kind of electronic sounds. I guess it's a forerunner of a Moog Synthesizer with computerized music.

And, here is a You Tube link to a cartoon video of the song.

Tennessee Bird Walk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yR0NJYb ... re=related

Jack Blanchard and Misty Morgan also had another song titled Clock Of St. James.

But I can't find any You Tube videos for that song.

The song tells a story about a man who commits a terrible crime robbing some lady and pushing her from a bridge and the clock of St James chime as she falls into the cold river during the late night.

Here is the lyrics to the song

Clock Of St. James
Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan

The clock of St James lookin' down through the rain at the city blackened with time
Alleys and the doorways are grim, the street lights dimmed from the soot and the grime
The pitiful scream from the Second Street bridge
Was drowned by the three o'clock chime
But the Clock of St James lookin' down through the rain knows I committed a crime

BONG! BONG! BONG!

CHORUS
Clock of St James, Clock of St James like an eye in the sky lookin' deep in my brain
Seein' my weakness, seein' my shame, where can I hide from Clock of St James

The Clock of St James lookin' down through the rain lookin' at a grim pantomime
The body that falls from the Second Street bridge, the splash in the watery slime
The lights of the bridge never touchin' the hand clutchin' a dollar and dime
But the Clock of St James looking down through the rain knows I committed a crime

CHORUS
Clock of St James, Clock of St James like an eye in the sky lookin' deep in my brain
Seein' my weakness, seein' my shame, where can I hide from Clock of St James

I run through the city, I run through the shadows of the buildings all blackened with time
The alleys and the doorways are grim, my hand still clutchin' the dollar and dime
The pitiful scream from the Second Street bridge was drowned by the three o'clock chime
But the clock of St James looking down through the rain knows I committed a crime

BONG! BONG! BONG!

CHORUS
Clock of St James, Clock of St James like an eye in the sky lookin' deep in my brain
Seein' my weakness, seein' my shame, where can I hide from Clock of St James

BONG! BONG! BONG!

I once upon a time had these two songs on a 45 RPM record. Tennessee Bird walk was on one side, and Clock Of St. James was on the flip side.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep on searching for the music, but at least I found the lyrics.

Thanks for the "Tennessee Bird Walk" lyrics and video, Fat Man. Brings back some bittersweet memories of the summer and fall of 1970.

Yesterday, September 29th, when I was out shopping, after I got off the bus and was heading toward the Big 8 supermarket, I saw this beat up red car going by. It was an old clunker and noisy as Hell because it needed a new muffler. The car was a piece of shit!

Well, that inspired me to search for a music video on You Tube and to do a Google search for the song lyrics, and I found both.

I got to warn you. It's a very dirty song with a lot of four-letter cuss words, but it's really funny as all Hell!

Some of you here will enjoy the song, but some of you will not.

To those who might be offended, I apologize in advance.
If the moderators decide to delete this particular post
I'll understand. That's OK.

But in the meantime, to those who might like the song then . . . . .

ENJOY!!

OK?

Adam Sandler - Live on HBO - 1996 Ode To My Car (Piece Of Shit Car)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjHkIm3Z3gA&feature

Here are the lyrics to the song.

Ode To My Car (Piece Of Shit Car)
Piece of shit car
I got a piece of shit car
That fuckin' pile of shit
Never gets me very far

My cars a big piece of shit
cause the shocks are fucking shot
And my seat-belts fucking broken
I got to tie it in a knot
(its a piece of shit)

I can't see through the windshield
cause its got a big fucking crack
And the interior smells real bad
cause my friend puked in the back
(its a piece of shit)

(piece of shit car)
Piece of shit car
(he's got a piece of shit car)
It sucks royal dick
(that fuckin' pile of shit)
100% crap
(never gets him very far)
Oh fuck you car!

Its got no CD player, it only got the 8-track
Whoever designed my car can lick my sweaty nut sack
(they can bite his ass too)
And I got no fuckin' brakes
I'm always way out of control
Eleven times a day I hear hey, watch it asshole!
(you fuckin' piece of shit)

(piece of shit car)
I got piece of shit car
(he got a piece of shit car)
Diesel gas sucks my ass
(that fuckin' pile of shit)
That pile of metal shit
(never gets him very far)

Oh what the fuck did I do?
What the fuck did I do?
What the fuck did I do?
To get stuck with you?
You're too wide for drive-thru
And you smell like the shoe
But I'm too broke to buy something new
Oh fuck me!

Well the engine likes to flood
The car always fuckin' stalls
And the seat cushions got a big rip
So a spring always pokes the balls
(ouch, ouch, ouch!)
Plus the door locks are busted
I gotta use a fucking coat hanger
(what a pain in his ass!)
And if a girlie sees my car
There's no chance I'll ever bang her
(he never ever gets da pussy)
Hey shut up
(piece of shit car)
You piece of shit car

(you got a piece of shit car)
You piece of shit car
(piece of shit car)
Bald fuckin' tires
(you got a piece of shit car)
No rear-view fucking mirror
(piece of shit car)
Seven different colors
(you got a piece of shit car)
Fucking rag for a gas cap
(piece of shit car)
Tailpipe makes the sparks fly everywhere
(you got a piece of shit car)
(piece of shit car)
(you got a piece of shit car)
(piece of shit car)
Oh the whole town thinks I'm a loser
(you got a piece of shit car)
Cabby give me a push
(piece of shit car...)

1972 FORD PINTO, AND IT SUCKS!!!

I once sang this song at a Karaoke and almost everybody cheered. Only a couple of people booed, but most people cheered.

Again, I apologize to those who might be offended.

OK?

I guess you all remember a song titled BAD that was sung by Michael Jackson.

Weird Al Yankovic did a satire of that song, and renamed it FAT.

Anyway, here is a really cool You Tube music video with FAT by Weird Al Yankovic

Weird Al Yankovic-Fat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqz1ojIQTBk

And here are the lyrics to FAT.

FAT
Weird Al Yankovic

Your butt is wide, well mine is too.
Just watch your mouth or I'll sit on you!
The word is out, better treat me right,
'Cause I'm the king of cellulite.
Ham on, ham on, ham on whole wheat, all right!

My zippers bust, my buckles break.
I'm too much man for you to take.
The pavement cracks when I fall down!
I've got more chins than Chinatown!

Well, I've never used a phone booth,
And I've never seen my toes.
When I'm goin' to the movies
I take up seven rows!

Because I'm fat, I'm fat, come on!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, come on you know.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
Don't you call me pudgy, portly or stout.
Just now tell me once again, who's fat?

When I walk out to get my mail,
It measures on the Richter scale!
Down at the beach I'm a lucky man.
I'm the only one who gets a tan!
If I have one more pie a la mode,
I'm gonna need my own zip code!

When you're only having seconds,
I'm having twenty-thirds!
When I go to get my shoes shined,
I gotta take their word!

Because I'm fat, I'm fat, sha mone!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it you know.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
And my shadow weighs forty-two pounds!
Lemme tell you once again, who's fat?

If you see me comin' your way,
Better give me plenty space.
If I tell you that I'm hungry,
Then won't you feed my face?

Because I'm fat, I'm fat, sha mone!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it, you know.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
Woo woo woo, when I sit around the house
I really sit around the house!

You know I'm fat, I'm fat, come on!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it, you know it.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know, you know, you know, come on.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
And you know all by myself I'm a crowd!
Lemme tell you once again.

You know I'm huge, I'm fat, you know it!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, you know, hoo!
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it, you know.
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
And the whole world knows I'm fat and I'm proud.
Just tell me once again, who's fat?

There is another song titled Endomorph by a rock group, Rasputina.

An Endomorph is person who is plump and round, as opposed to an Ectomorph (tall and slender) or a Mesomorph (muscular athletic build) so, I'm an Endomorph.

And Rasputina has a song titled Endomorph.

This is Rasputina

Image

Now Rasputina is a rather unique rock group. Their music is a combination of rock and classical and the only instruments they play are cellos!

Image

In the meantime, I have been searching the You Tube videos for Rasputina, and I have found several videos for many of their other songs, but I haven't found one for song titled Endomorph.

So, using my Real Player Rhapsody account, I was able to purchase and download a single music track for a dollar, then I created a new web site with Anglefire.

My new web site will be called The Fat Man's Emporium and I was able to upload the song to my new web site, and I will be adding more stuff to my web site in time.

Anyway . . .

If you want to hear the song, just click on the link I have provided. You might need the Quick Time Player installed on your computer.

Endomorph by Rasputina
http://fat-man.angelfire.com/Endomorph.mp3

And here are the lyrics to the song, Endomorph.

It's really a sweet song.

Endomorph
Rasputina

Morning has broken and what do I see
but those same bloody fingerprints following me
it don't pay to be careful don't pay to be nice
So it's backwards and forwards and back again twice
I don't think I'll try it again.

Guilty was all that I felt until now
Go ahead say I'm wrong
but I'm curious how
all you people get up
and then don't arrive late
Do you pray every day
and then patiently wait?
I don't think I'll try again

I'm known as The Endomorph
I'm slow, I go back and forth
I'm known as The Endomorph

Punishment comes for no reason I've seen
then it stays for a while keeping quiet between
what you said would take place
if my big mouth was shut
and I pray every day,
and it's all okay
but I don't think I'll try again.

I'm known as The Endomorph
I'm slow, I go back and forth
I'm known as The Endomorph
I'm known as The Endomorph

Yeah! That's me alright!

I'm an Endomorph.
I'm slow and I go back and forth.

The Association -- "Everything That Touches You" (1967)

I tried posting a link to a particular youtube video of this song; namely, one that had a copy of the original recording without any applause by an audience. But when I tested the link by clicking on it, the video wasn't automatically activated into playing or even displayed. So, if you want to hear it, you'll have to go to the website, do a search, and click on the video entitled "Teac X2000R."

Human Wheels, by John Mellencamp.

John Mellencamp - Human Wheels
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzghMfV8osA

Here are the lyrics to the song.

Human Wheels
Written by: John Mellencamp and George Green

This land today, shall draw its last breath
And take into its ancient depths
This frail reminder of its giant, dreaming self.
While I, with human-hindered eyes
Unequal to the sweeping curve of life,
Stand on this single print of time.

Human wheels spin round and round
While the clock keeps the pace.
Human wheels spin round and round
Help the light to my face.

That time, today, no triumph gains
At this short success of age.
This pale reflection of its brave and
Blundering deed.
For I, descend from this vault,
Now dreams beyond my earthly fault
Knowledge, sure, from the seed.

Human wheels spin round and round
While the clock keeps the pace.
Human wheels spin round and round
Help the light to my face.

This land, today, my tears shall taste
And take into its dark embrace.
This love, who in my beating heart endures,
Assured, by every sun that burns,
The dust to which this flesh shall return.
It is the ancient, dreaming dust of God.

Human wheels spin round and round
While the clock keeps the pace.
Human wheels spin round and round
Help the light to my face.

Human wheels spin round and round
While the clock keeps the pace.
Human wheels spin round and round
Help the light to my face.
