OK, as I had mentioned a few times before, I'm in the process of converting to Judaism, so I go to a Reform Synagogue on Shabbot, Saturday mornings for Torah Studies, and then religious services.
Our Rabbi is really cool, he plays the guitar, and many of the songs we sing, which I'm learning to sing in Hebrew, many of the songs absolutely rocks!
Anyway . . .

I'm sorry, but I just didn't like those. I started listening to the first one by Tupac and killed it after about 44 seconds. It's just not my kind of music. You should have put a link to Walk This Way by Run DMC and Aerosmith up as that is the only rap song I like. And I'd say that was just as much rock as it was rap. I won't say the songs are shit as we've got to be tolerant of each other's tastes in music but you will not make a rap fan out of me.

Some rap is okay and meaningful. Tupac's Changes is an example of a good rap song with a message underneath. But one has to accept, there's no real talent in it. Real talent is found in other genres, such as classical. Learning to play the piano in such a good way as the most famous pianists takes a life of hard work to achieve; that is where I feel real musical talent lies even though I would not normally listen to that stuff.
