What do you hate about rap and rnB?

Rap has no pattern of any kind to it, nor does it have any type of intelligent message. Rap songs are usually about some dude slappin his girlfriend, then smoking a joint, and shooting other guys. How exactly is that entertaining?
R&B is just too Southern oriented. Plus, I don't like the sound of the instruments used.
