I just read this disturbing message that someone posted in the Guestbook this afternoon. I've copied and pasted this message below. Check it out for yourself, if you please.

So you guys think Samdaman gave you a hard time. Well, I've got news for you. You ain't seen nothin yet. You didn't know Samdaman has a little brother. But I ain't little, ya wimps. I'm a tough homber just like my big brother. I'm goin to the high school where he played football. I have followed in his foot steps. I'm six foot six and I weigh 237 pounds.

I can't believe this fat guy in your forum. My brother woulda cleaned his clock. Michael Savage's my man, and he ain't no wiener. He says all fatties should be put in detention camps and FORCED to slim down. Yeah, that's what should be done to your Fat Man and all the other fatsos.

And this Earl what a joke! Sounds like a sissy Sunday school teacher. He won't cuss, eh? What a wimp and loser! So what if he works out? Me and my big brother are gonna beat him up some day.

Hmmm... at first glance I might have believed this, but now I strongly believe that it was an April Fool's. Two reasons:

1) The fact he's posted it today. Now, I know that there is absolutely no actual rule prohibiting obnoxious sports fans from posting messages of abuse on our guestbook on April 1, but it seems a bit ironic how someone claiming to be a relative of Samdaman would post a message on the guestbook on this day.

2) The spelling and grammar. To put it simply, it is miles above the garbage Samdaman was spewing following his ban from the forums. Samdaman's "brother", if he has one, would more than likely type in the same style as his brother did, which would be another load of illiterate crap that no sensible, intelligent person would ever give any value to. The spelling and grammar of the Guestbook message is too good to be a sibling of Samdaman's. Young idiots usually are surrounded by more idiots.

At the moment I'm just wondering who it may be, but I could well be wrong and we may really have another angry jock wanting to take us down... something that a lot of people here should be used to.

Fat Man, I assume you were playing along. Surely, you must have caught my reference to Michael Savage. (By the way, dear reader, he really did say that. He also tore into Betty Ford for crying in public at her husband's state funeral. I stopped listening to him when I heard him diss her on the air. Abusing grieving people is low-class.)


I must say that you're quite perceptive, i_like_1981. I laughed out loud (and so did Mrs. Earl) when I read your Reason No. 2.

How true, how true! I guess I'm just too educated to be convincing. Believe me, I tried; but there's a very special quality about Samdaman's missives that I just don't have the talent to capture online. A certain spirit of ... what shall we call it? Perhaps a combination of mean-spiritedness, vulgarity, intolerance, and fanaticism. It takes a special breed of guy to post such messages. I guess I just don't have what it takes ...

I didn't suspect it was you -- nice touch calling yourself a sissy Sunday school teacher and all! Now that I look more closely at it, I do notice there was no profanity in the message, which would be rare for a Samdaman brother/clone/whatever.

I almost made some snarky comments in response to the Guestbook post -- now I'm glad I didn't!
