No, no and NO!

Even if everyone else said "yes" (which I sincerely doubt will happen), I'd still disallow it. Not saying you will, but if you do, it'll result in an immediate ban. I've had enough of them; don't bother. Let sleeping dogs lie.
Yeah! I won't even go there myself!

Shit smells even worse when it's stirred up!

Also, the last time we were raided by the 4channers I was especially singled out for special harassment since I am the most sarcastic and cynical member here when it comes to sports.

Someone managed to get my phone number, and I was woke up in the middle of the night with harassing phone calls, so I had to change my phone number.

I'm still getting hit with $89.04 invoices for a subscription to Sports Illustrated ragazine in my name which I did not order. Somebody from 4chan managed to get my home address and subscribed in my name and I'm getting billed for it.

I refuse to pay for something I did subscribe to, and I keep telling them that, but now, in my most recent bill, I'm being threatened with legal action for not paying.

Free speech is not free! It's going to cost me $89.04 or probably some jail time!

So, please, by all means, let sleeping dogs lie until they die!

OK?

I'm still getting the Minnesota Vikings newsletter emailed to me. I tried cancelling the subscription, but I'm still getting them, and when I tried to cancel it again they told me I couldn't because I already unsubscribed. So why the hell am I still getting it?

Oh well, at least I don't have to pay for it. :?
Yes, it really is JUST A GAME.

I really can't be bothered unsubscribing to all the sports newsletters I've been signed up for now. Oh well, they all get sent to my email junk folder anyway, so I'm hardly affected by them. Even I have better things to concentrate on.

Skul. I think you should add a new rule onto the Forum Rules list which states that any new member that signs up and immediately starts posting 4chan memes receives a ban and a rank change to SPAMMER. Does that sound a good idea given what has been happening most of this year thus far?

Well, if man in command says no to my idea, I will not carry out. (But I recently saw some anti-sport stirrings on /sp/ when I went on detour from /a/ and /k/, and it seems we might get some of the action...)

Yes, over there it seems they appear to enjoy trolling each other's boards seeing as how there are so many different topic boards at 4chan. They really never seem to be satisfied unless they're pissing people off, whether they be non-Channers or Channers of a different kind.

Probably the 'anonymity' of channers is part to blame. (Which idiot says that humankind strive naturally for goodness and for the community? Pfffft. It must be induced dammit)

Anonymous many of them may be, but a few of them chose to give themselves usernames on those boards and that is how we had one or two of them banned. Besides, most of the trolls have ended up giving themselves away on here of their own free will. Look at the posts by SensibleSportsman. He had no problem pretending to be a pro-sports critic of the site, and not doing a very good job of it either, and then giving himself away as a 4channer once he'd stirred up a bit of attention on here. Perhaps they just enjoy the reactions to anything 4chan-related on this forum.

By the way, I like your avatar, Imperialist. :D

It is a .PNG rendition of what Japanese Field Marshals (an honorary rank given to full Generals) would wear like a medal, as a pin on their left chest (even though they may not be wearing any other medals- it is like the Hero of the Soviet Union medal; even if you are not wearing other trinklets, you are expected to wear it out of pride)

I guess I missed the memo on introducing myself prior to posting. :P

Some of you read my post on the guestbook so I'll make this short and sweet. My name's Aaron and I'm currently a student at the University of Alabama. I'm a member of the Million Dollar Band and marched with Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps in 2005 which was the single greatest experience of my life. I'm a graphic design major with an engineering and math minor and plan to go to grad school for advertising. I'm a huge supporter of fine arts, especially performing arts. I'm also a sports fan and athlete. I've played baseball and basketball in the past as well as marching drum corps and marching band (as noted above). I played tennis in high school and swam recreationally and currently enjoy a good outing on the golf course. I'm also big into working on and racing (on the track) my car. I'm a sports fan, too. I'm a huge Alabama football fan and had the pleasure of being in Pasadena, CA for the National Championship in January. I'm a Maryland basketball fan (my dad's alma mater) and an Atlanta Braves fan.

I feel like, having been friends with jocks in high school and having some in my honors and AP classes as well as not liking some who were dumb and mean AND for being in the band I've seen pretty much all sides of the issue of sports. I'm a big fan of a good discussion and debate and I thought it would be fun to do so on your fine forums. I look forward to exchanging opinions with all of you. :D

And I figured I'd show a couple pics. Why the hell not?

Ooh, marching band. (Probably better than our contingent band, because it is just so... rubbish. And british marching music is nothing compared to say, Russian, German among others, so it is a bit boring to listen to)

At the least it is not compeltely sports oriented (and I love marching, or at the least, making people march. Mwahahahahaha)

I like those pictures, sf2k4. Good that you've got plenty to do and seem to enjoy all the things you do. Having a shortage of life interests is certainly not something that has helped me. I like to play music myself from time to time and do own a keyboard but I am not in a band and don't even take lessons. We're not as big on the school sports over here. In my high school the sports teams certainly did not have marching bands, though matches between universities may receive more celebration. I don't know. I never observed the sporting lifestyle much and tried to distance myself from it. Regarding the third picture, it must be damn hard to work one of those huge things! I'd probably collapse if you made me try and play one of those! Good luck with your academic intentions.

My name is Eve. I'm 20 and I'm currently a biomedical engineering student at the University of Memphis. I can't really think of many interesting things to say about myself right now, so forgive me of this horrible introduction.

Generally, I'm not a huge sports fan, but I'm in love with women's flat track roller derby, and I want to play as soon as I turn 21. I like visual art, and draw as a hobby.

And that's pretty much all I've got to say about myself.
